What this site collects, why, and what happens to it.
Who this covers
This policy applies to impactfulleadership.com, the website of Impactful Leadership, Dane Hudson’s CEO mentoring and leadership development practice. It sets out what personal information the site collects, why it is collected, and who else is involved in handling it.

What you send us
The only place this site asks for personal information is the enquiry form on the Contact page.
Two fields are required: your name and your email address. The rest are optional — your organisation, phone number, the date and location of your event, the size of the audience, a budget range, which keynote interests you, and anything you would like to tell us about the engagement.
What you submit is sent to Dane by email. It is not stored in a database on this website. It is used to reply to you and to discuss the work, and for nothing else. You are not added to a mailing list, and the information is never sold or used for advertising.
Bot protection
The enquiry form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than an automated script. It runs invisibly, so there is nothing for you to solve and nothing extra to click.
To make that check, Cloudflare receives information about your browser and your connection, and may set a cookie in your browser. What Cloudflare does with that information is governed by its own terms: see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and the Cloudflare Website Terms of Use.
What is collected automatically
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how it is used. It records which pages are viewed, roughly which part of the world the visit came from, the device and browser, and how you arrived. It sets cookies in your browser, and Google processes that information on its own terms.
Cloudflare delivers this site. It keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, and sets a cookie named __cf_bm to tell real visitors apart from automated traffic.
Cookies
In ordinary use this site involves cookies from three sources: Cloudflare, which delivers the site; Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks the enquiry form; and Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the pages of this site will still work.
Who else handles your information
Your information is not sold or rented. It is shared only with the providers that make the site work: the web host and content delivery network that serve the pages, the email service that delivers enquiries, and Google for analytics. Each receives only what it needs to do its part.
Where it is held
Pages are served through a global content delivery network, so cached copies of site content may sit on servers outside Australia. Enquiries sent through the form arrive in Dane’s mailbox.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask what personal information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected if it is wrong, and ask for it to be deleted. Email dane@impactfulleadership.com and we will respond.
If you are not satisfied with how a request is handled, you can raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
