All Impactful Leadership journeys start with this key competency. The Disciplined Leader module focuses on developing the leadership characteristics and skills required as a CEO.
Leadership is inherently about discipline, determination to plot and stay a course and gaining the insight to change when required. It is about creating a rhythm to your leadership, a recognisable constancy, as the organisation is always watching you.

- Understanding your role and priorities as CEO and establishing your authentic leadership style. Knowing your leadership shadow and building emotional intelligence.
- Creating trust, safety and openness within your team; making your team a team
- Empowering and delegating with confidence; holding the team accountable; dealing with underperformance
- Giving / receiving feedback; Coaching and mentoring your team
- Presenting and motivating – giving good and bad news … Expanding your repertoire of communication styles
- Influencing, negotiating and persuading
- Managing up (your boss, chair, board)
- Leading in crisis
- Leading across multiple countries and cultures
